NAAC [ National Assessment and Accreditation Council]
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit higher education institutions in the country. Its primary objective is to ensure and enhance the quality of higher education through a rigorous accreditation process. NAAC evaluates institutions based on various parameters such as curricular aspects, teaching-learning processes, infrastructure, governance, and innovation. Accreditation by NAAC signifies a level of quality and credibility, helping institutions improve their standards and fostering excellence in higher education across India.

–> To arrange for periodic assessment and accreditation of institutions of higher education or units thereof, or specific academic programmes or projects.
